In partnership with Sony Pictures Entertainment, The Palazzo celebrated the Las Vegas premiere of TAKERS Tuesday night at a packed Lagasse¹s Stadium. The exclusive invitation-only event played host to several members of the TAKERS cast including Hayden Christensen, Tip ³T.I.² Harris, Michael Ealy, Idris Elba, Jay Hernandez, director John Luessenhop and producer Will Packer.

TV personality Bridget Marquardt transforms from a Playboy bunny into a snow bunny when she hosts “Stereo Loves Snow Day” at AZURE Luxury pool on Saturday, August 28. After starring on the wildly successful show, “Girls Next Door,” Marquardt hosted “Bridget’s Sexiest Beaches” on Travel Channel and is currently in production on her own reality show. Celebrating with Moet Imperial Ice, the only champagne served on ice, guests will get the chills as they enjoy alcoholic sno cones, ice cube shots, an ice luge and specialty drinks such as the Ice Princess and Arctic Blast. Snow machines and ice sculptures will transform the AZURE deck into a wintry wonderland and an ideal escape from the hot desert.

Guests are encouraged to indulge from Aug. 11-15, with two new menu items fit for The King at Johnny Smalls.  The Elvistini cocktail, inspired by Elvis’ favorite fried peanut butter and banana sandwich and created with a blend of Baileys, Creme de Banane, Chambord, and Frangelico is served with a Johnny Small’s twist for $12.  Chef Scott Minervini also creates a Peanut Butter and Banana Beignet with Candied Pepper Bacon ‘Fries,’ available for $8.

Indie rockers Interpol are touring in support of their fourth album this fall and will be making a stop at The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on Friday, October 22. Multi-award winning music legend, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, & Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee Van Morrison will return to Las Vegas this fall. Van’s 2009 sold-out Joint show was a night to remember for fans and now he’s bringing The Historical Show of a Lifetime to The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on Sunday, October 3. Tickets go on sale this Friday at noon for Van Morrison and this Saturday at noon for Interpol.

Parallel inside Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Las Vegas hosts an autograph signing session with America’s Next Top Model winner Krista White 1 – 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 15. The ANTM cycle 14 champion will be available to meet fans, take pictures and sign autographs. White’s in store appearance will launch the retailer’s model search for females, 16 – 24 years of age.
