The Palazzo Las Vegas welcomes Ultimate Fighter Season 1 star and top welterwight contender Josh Koscheck on Saturday, July 3, 2010 as he hosts the UFC 116 Lesnar v. Carwin Viewing Party inside Lagasse’s Stadium.  Koscheck will welcome the crowd, discuss his favorite UFC moments and who he thinks will win UFC 116. 

 Fight fans can catch all the action on over 100 HD TV’s, while dining on renowned Chef Emeril Lagasse’s critically acclaimed kicked-up bar food.  The venue offers flat screen television tableside, plush stadium seating, and an outdoor patio decked with billiards and flat screens. UFC 116 will be televised live inside Lagasse’s Stadium from 7:00pm-10:00pm.

Boyd Gaming Corporation today announced it is launching an enhanced, multi-property player loyalty program under the nationwide brand "B Connected" – and celebrating with a giveaway of up to $3.75 million in slot dollars during the first week of July.

The B Connected brand is replacing the "Club Coast" name previously used in Las Vegas at Gold Coast, Suncoast, Sam's Town and The Orleans. Customers of these properties will keep all earned benefits and club points they've previously earned under the program.  In addition, all members will enjoy new enhancements to the B Connected club:

AFAN (Aid for AIDS of Nevada) hosts the 24^th Annual Black & White Party inside The Joint concert venue at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, inviting partygoers to join the fight against HIV/AIDS with an evening of unique entertainment, exquisite cuisine and fresh libations from 9 p.m. – 1 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 21.

It's safe to say that you can expect 100° days in Vegas for most of the rest of the summer.  If you're going to Vegas, make sure to drink plenty of water, especially if you're going to do a lot of drinking as well.  You don't want to dehydrate or overheat yourself.  It's something to really watch for now with all of these new beach clubs that are open on the Strip. 

It appears that the Hard Rock Hotel in Vegas has a connection with the Jersey Shore cast, as they seem to make an appearance there quite often.  They should probably go for some more 'real' celebrities, but for those interested:

From the hit MTV show Jersey Shore, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino will celebrate his birthday in style by hosting the world-renowned daytime pool party, REHAB.  The popular playboy will mix and mingle with the thousands of party-goers that attend REHAB each Sunday. 

Those of you that will be in Las Vegas this weekend will get temperatures in the 90s during the daytime and low to mid 70s at night.  Here are just a few of the special events happening around the Strip

American Idol alum, Katharine McPhee, makes a special musical appearance on the Last Vegas Strip at AZURE Luxury Pool on Saturday, June 26^th for ‘Stereo Love Live’. The sultry singer and songwriter will grace the poolside stage and host the day time party to celebrate the launch of Belvedere Pink Grapefruit Vodka.

Sir Richard Branson, the Founder and President of Virgin Atlantic, will make a special appearance tomorrow morning (June 16th) at 9:15 a.m at the Fountains of Bellagio.  This is in celebration of the airline’s 10th anniversary of flights between London and Las Vegas.  The celebration will be for approximately 10 minutes.
