Garth Brooks has performed to sold-out crowds and rave reviews at the intimate Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas on the Las Vegas Strip. Tickets for the next series of highly anticipated concerts will go on sale on Saturday, June 19 at 10 a.m. PT. Tickets are available exclusively at Ticketmaster.com or by calling 1-877-65-GARTH. Tickets are $125 plus fees and tax.

With Wynn now charging a resort fee at both the Wynn and Encore hotels, people are getting upset again about these added fees.  Essentially you are paying for certain amenities that are otherwise not getting enough use to make money off of them on charge per use basis.  With Wynn's new resort fee, you'll be paying $20/day for access to their gym, in-room internet access printing of your boarding pass and unlimited local calls.

Cantor Gaming’s state-of-the-art mobile gaming technology will be a key feature of the new, transformed Tropicana Las Vegas. Cantor Gaming, an affiliate of global financial services firm Cantor Fitzgerald, has entered into a partnership with Tropicana Las Vegas to operate the casino’s new race and sports book. The state-of-the-art race and sports book is anticipated to open in fall 2010.

SKYBAR, just off the Las Vegas Strip at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, unveils an exclusive photo exhibit featuring the works of legendary rock photographer, Neal Preston on Thursday, June 17.  The collection provides an extensive overview of Preston’s body of work, shot over four decades.  It includes a limited-edition never-before-seen Led Zeppelin enlarged contact sheet which is a collaboration between HRH magazine and Neal Preston.

The Tropicana Las Vegas has revealed their newest addition to the Strip property's large overhaul.  Beginning June 28, comedy in Las Vegas will have a new home featuring a familiar face.

Anchored by the largest collection of authentic artifacts, memorabilia, photos and videos of organized crime ever assembled, The Las Vegas Mob Experience is an attraction unlike any other. The Las Vegas Mob Experiencewill open December 2010 at Tropicana Las Vegas. The Las Vegas Mob Experience will use the latest in "interactive entertainment technology" to immerse guests in a presentation of the rise and fall of organized crime. The fall is a direct result of the successful efforts of Nevada State Gaming and law enforcement officials. Through first person accountings, offered by apparitions of famed gangsters themselves, visitors will be able to experience the world of organized crime and learn about the role its major players had on the building of Las Vegas, and their ultimate eradication from the casinos.

Rain Nightclub and Palms Casino Resort host the ultimate retro-inspired roller skating disco party Down & Derby at 10 p.m. on Thursday, June 24.  The national skating phenomenon rolls into Las Vegas’ top mega-nightclub to throw another dance party featuring DJ Nugget and Bonics and resident skate guard DJ SHR3D controlling the roller disco rink’s turntables.

The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel, just off the Las Vegas Strip, is making sure it's the premier concert venue for the area as it continues to announce upcoming acts.  Shortly after announcing the supergroup Further is coming in September, they have announced that the Pixies will be playing there 3 days later.

After nearly 40 sold out shows on three continents since Fall, 2009, alternative rockers The Pixies are bringing The Doolittle Tour back to the U.S.A.  The 11-city trek will extend the 20th anniversary celebration of the release of the band's classic 1989 album, Doolittle.  The tour will make a stop at The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on Saturday, September 25. Tickets go on sale Monday, June 14 at 10am.

Phil Lesh & Bob Weir to Take it Furthur at The Joint. Grateful Dead members Phil Lesh & Bob Weir continue their musical adventure with their new band Furthur with an appearance at The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on September 22nd.  Tickets will go on-sale this Saturday, June 12th at noon.  Fans can expect Lesh & Weir to push the musical envelope with jaw-dropping improvisations and loving renditions of Grateful Dead classics, with an all star band that includes keyboardist Jeff Chimenti (RatDog), drummer Joe Russo (Benevento - Russo Duo, Trey Anastasio), and guitarist John Kadlecik (Dark Star Orchestra).
